Itinerary

Kathmandu to Kohalpur is around 11 hours (500 KM) and Surkhet is around 13 hours (605 KM) comfortable drive. There are many hotels around the town as per the package category. Overnight at Kohalpur / Surkhet.

Start driving from early in the morning. Surkhet to Manma is around 6 hours of drive (190 KM) and Kohalpur to Manma is around 7.5 hours of drive (248 KM). If we skip a few places, the road condition is quite good. This is one of the scenic drives of your journey where you will be traveling through Sal Forest. Overnight at Manma.

Start driving from early in the morning. It is only around 20 min drive from Nagma and the road starts rough none paved till Rara Lake. Now you will be traveling long by the age of Karnali River for 4 hrs and then through the village a Sallahaha forest. After 20 min drive from Talca Airport, one small cottage can be seen where you need to park your vehicle and walk for 30 min to reach the lake. For seething lake, this is enough, but if you want to stay on the bank of the lake and enjoy the lake's spectacular view, you need to walk approx. 1.5 hrs by the edge of the lake and you will reach the hotel which lies on the bank of the river. You also have the option to fix a tent at the bank of Lake. Overnight at Rara. (7 – 9 hours’ drive )

Early morning breakfast explores the lake. In the daytime, you can hike up to the Murma Top hill where you can see the best view of the lake. Overnight at Rara.

Return to Manma, Kalikot by the same route as you went rara the day before yesterday. Overnight at Manma, Kalikot. (7 – 9 hours’ drive )

Start your day early in the morning where you can find many places to have tea rest. If you start your day at 6 AM then you can easily reach Bardiya on the same. Overnight at Bardiya. (10 – 12 hours’ drive)

After breakfast visit Explore Bardiya National Park and surroundings, in the evening visit Karnali Bridge and surroundings also. Return back to hotel, attend cultural program and overnight at Bardiya.

After breakfast drive from Bardiya to Kathmandu with memories of enjoyment. (11-13 hours’ Drive)
